A foreign computer hacker accessed the personal information of more than 4,000 current, former and perspective University of Georgia students. School officials say the breach, which occurred on December 29th and 31st, exposed students’ names, addresses and Social Security numbers. While officials say there is no evidence the hacker used or recorded the information, UGA is trying to notify all affected students of the breach. Last February, a hacker accessed the information of 3,500 UGA students.
