Delta Airlines may start charging for curbside check-in. In its effort to cut costs, Delta is considering charging two dollars per bag. A Delta spokesperson said the airline is not considering an extra charge for check-ins inside the airport.
Another measure to curb costs includes eliminating the jobs of about 65 Atlanta curbside service attendants called skycaps. Delta will offer those employees other customer service positions or a transfer to a lower paying division of the airline.
