Augusta Voted Most Affordable Metro Area in Country

by Valarie Edwards

The votes are in and Augusta takes first place as the most affordable place to live in the country.
That’s according to bizjournals.com, an on-line newspaper covering business worldwide. Fred Russell is Augusta’s city administrator. Russell says, "the secret is out, pretty much whatever you want, you can find here."

Coming in second behind AugustaWichita, Kansas. Rounding out the top three … Little Rock, Arkansas.

The most expensive place to live … on the east coast, honors go to the city that never sleeps … Manhattan. Out west, it’s a three way tie between San Francisco, Los Angeles and San Jose.
