The possibility of future open meetings by the Public Service Commission will be considered today. The PSC will consider a proposal by one of its own, to require any conversation with someone interested in a case taken-up by the Commission, to be held in an open-forum. Critics say back-room deals between commissioners and utility lobbyists have hurt the public's ability to follow PSC decisions. In the next year, the five-member commission will consider cases including the approval of resource and supply plans for Georgia Power, and Atlanta Gas Light.
