Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney helped kicked off the State Republican Convention at the Gwinnett Civic Center today.
Romney came to the convention to raise money for his presidential bid.
He brushed aside reporter's questions about his Mormon religion, telling the crowd at the Gwinnett Civic Center that the American public doesn't care what church you go to.
What matters most, he says, are management and leadership experience.
"America's going to want somebody who has actually managed something to lead the country. You look at the three Democratic frontrunners, no one of them has ever managed a corner store, let alone a state or a city."
Romney also criticized Congress for its compromise on immigration reform, which contains amnesty for illegal immigrants. Something Romney opposes.
