Today the U.S. Supreme Court denied a stay of execution for a Georgia man. 63-year-old John Hightower is to be given a lethal injection tonight. He is being held at the state prison in Jackson south of Atlanta. Hightower was convicted of killing his wife and two stepdaughters in 1987. The execution will be Georgia's first in nearly two years.
