Triple-digit temperatures hit many parts of the state Wednesday, and are in the forecast again today. Yesterday, three-digit readings were posted in Albany, Augusta, Athens, Macon, Rome, and Atlanta for the first time. The top hot spots in Georgia were Albany and Augusta with 103 degree readings.
