State transportation officials expect auditions for the hit television show "American Idol" to clog downtown Atlanta streets beginning Sunday.
The Georgia Department of Transportation says about 20,000 people could descend on Atlanta to try out for the reality show.
The DOT advises people headed into downtown Sunday through Tuesday to allow plenty of extra time for their commutes…and to use MARTA or carpool if possible.
