There is a change-of-story from a high school student in Henry County. Yesterday, school officials at Luella High in Locust Grove put the school in lockdown--police were looking for the attacker of a student who said he had been stabbed. Hours later, the student admitted his superficial wounds were self-inflicted. Authorities say the student had been in a confrontation with other students, and thought his wounds would keep him out of school.
There was no comment from school officials on possible disciplinary action for the student. He will be charged with giving a false report to law enforcement, and weapons violations.
