The president of the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta told business leaders on Thursday that he believes the housing market will settle down eventually. Dennis Lockhart warned there could be more bumps along the way. Lockhart said the Fed must do what it can to slow inflation, but also ensure it does not go too far and affect long-term economic growth.
