GA flags hangs in Texas capitol rotunda
In the true spirit of good sportsmanlike conduct, Texas Governor Rick Perry hung the Georgia State Flag today in the rotunda of the Texas capitol building in Austin, Texas.
Governors Perdue and Perry made a friendly wager on the outcome of the Little League World Series U.S. Championship game. The winning team got the honor of having their state flag displayed for a day in the losing team's capital city.
Representing the Southeastern U.S., Warner Robins defeated Texas' Lubbock Western team 5 to 2. Warner Robins then went on to become the Little League World Series Champions after defeating (Tokyo) Japan 3 to 2.
