HB 130 - Final Passage in House and Senate

The bill, if signed by Governor Perdue, would help protect Georgians from identity theft. After a conference committee, the bill passed in both chambers. The bill allows consumers to place a freeze on their credit report in order to prevent further use of their identity by an unauthorized person.
