Changed from a $1000 to $500 dollar fine in the House's newest rendition, the bill would ban the distribution of marijuana flavored candy in the State of Georgia. With this new amendment, the bill must be passed by the Senate and again by the House with in the next eleven hours.
In the House, debate is beginning to heat up. House Speaker Glen Richardson (R.) has had to repeatedly control question and answer sessions on bills. Richardson said the House must discuss issues in a professional matter even if Representatives vehemently disagree.
