The House voted to adopt the Senate Resolution to create a Boundary Line Commission between Georgia and Tennessee and Georgia and North Carolina. Representatives spoke out against the Resolution calling it a way to "get more water instead of conserve." Others said the bill which may allow Georgia to receive water from the Tennessee River, an insurance policy if the drought worsens. But, the tally in the end: only 24 votes nay.
