The Georgia Department of Agriculture is warning consumers of Salmonella bacteria has been found in Deli Fresh tuna salad made by Allison's Gourmet Kitchens and sold in Ingles supermarkets. Bacteria was found in a 12-ounce tuna salad package marked "Use by 7/29/08 B1." Allison's is based in Moore, Oklahoma. The contaminated tuna salad was discovered as part of the department's routine sampling program. Ingles has pulled the tuna salad from its store shelves. Its not known whether other Georgia supermarkets stores stock the product.
