Whether Barack Obama’s choice of vice presidential running mate will help in Georgia is not a question for Georgia Republican Senator Saxby Chambliss. He told reporters over the weekend that the Obama choice of Joe Biden won’t help much in the conservative South. Chambliss was joined on a conference call by Representative Tom Price, and says Biden’s record is nearly as liberal as Obama’s. The Democrats are gathering in Denver for the party’s convention this week.
