A Fort Stewart soldier is charged with murder in the September shooting deaths of two members of his unit in Iraq. Fort Stewart officials identified the accused soldier as 39-year-old Sgt. Joseph Bozicevich of Minneapolis. He is charged in the Sept. 14 slayings of Army Staff Sgt. Darris Dawson and Sgt. Wesley Durbin at their patrol base in central Iraq. The Army has released few details about the slayings, though written charges against Bozicevich say he shot the two soldiers with a rifle.
