The U.S. Government says it will release 900.000 gallons of crude oil from the Strategic Oil reserve to ease gas shortages in the South.
Governor Perdue requested additional relases from the reserve this week.
The U.S. Energy Secretary sent a letter to Perdue saying that the oil will be released to 2 refinieries, that had trouble getting supplies. Officials say the gas shortages should improve this week.
