County will hang Ten Commandments

Private donations will pay for the display which also includes the Mayflower Compact and the Declaration of Independence. The county removed a Ten Commandments display in 2005 after a lawsuit. Last year, the state Legislature passed a bill allowing local governments to post copies of the Ten Commandments in courthouses as long as the displays also include the Mayflower Compact and the Declaration of Independence.
