An Army sergeant from Cobb County has been killed in Iraq. The Department of Defense says 32-year-old Sergeant Brian Ardron of Acworth was one of three soldiers who died Monday in Baghdad when explosive devices detonated their vehicle. The three were based at Fort Richardson, Alaska. Ardron is Georgia's 100th Iraq war fatality.
