An Iraq War veteran from Winder, Georgia, has been convicted of aggravated assault in the killing of an Iraqi man last year. A military court martial in Hawaii issued its ruling Wednesday. Army Specialist Christopher Shore was sentenced to 120 days in prison and a two-grade reduction in rank. He will remain in military service.

Court martial starts for Georgia soldier
The court martial of a soldier from Georgia who is accused of killing an Iraqi civilian convened today in Hawaii. Specialist Christopher Shore of Winder is on trial in the June 23rd death. Shore says he intentionally missed the man when he was ordered to finish him off.
